SUGAR ME SWEET!

I was so happy to be a part of Wendi and Dustin's special day. Wendi choose pink and green for her wedding colors and did a fabulous job incorporating everything into the wedding...even her dress was pink! Dustin is a huge baseball fan and was able to incorporate his likes into the wedding as well - the table numbers were baseball teams.
Besides using pink and green, sweets and desserts were also a major part of the wedding. Lollipops as the escort cards, a candy buffet, and a never ending supply of cupcakes - who would want to eat dinner!!!

Red Lovin'

Clara was so much fun to work with. She incorporated red and lavender, that turned out beautiful. Along with a starfish/ocean feel. You can see in the pics below of how beautiful her wedding looked.

Cherry Blossom Fever

Linda was a joy to work with. She requested some unique wedding stationery for her wedding. She had quotes taken from love letters between her and her husband and had them displayed on tables, along with Vietnamese poems. Her wedding was simply stunning. Here are some shots from her wedding, courtesy of Sarah her friend.

Truly blessed to be part of this wedding.

This project was an exciting experience for me. Jemie's vision for her and Jeff's wedding allowed me to tie a modern, edgy feel together with a traditional ocean style. I was able to customize her stationery down to the tiniest detail, which pulled the entire vision together. Jemie and Jeff have a great sense of style which can be seen in what I helped them to achieve.
Here are some photos from the wedding.

So Sorry!

It as been a busy 2 months! When they summer is the Wedding Season, it certainly is. I have been really busy and can't wait to show my work. I apologize for not updating my log in 2 months and hope you will continue to view it in the future. I do promise to update more.
Thank You!

Looking into the Past — Part II

A look at more work I have done in the past...

Julie and Brad's wedding at the Balboa Inn. Julie came to me with the idea of taking her engagement pictures and using them as table numbers. She than incorporated writing in the sand the numbers of the table - such a clever idea! They turned out great!

Classic invite for a night of fun!

I designed this invite for our Open House back in October. Our home town has a festival every year called the Pumplin Festival and we held our open house on that weekend. It was great to tie in the season of the year and the festivities into the invite.

Simply Beautiful!

This is my first photo invitation and I love how it turned out. The invitation details part was printed on glossy paper while the rest was matte - great contrast! Another note, Leslie had a lot information to provide her guests, and doing 5 inserts work out perfectly.
These invites turned out great and I love the colors - perfect with each other. Best wishes to Leslie and Roy :)

Elegance

I just love how this invitation turned out. I wasn't so sure about the layout at first, but after I made a mock up, it seemed to work great! Leslie was great to work with and I wish the best for her and her future husband! (Please click on each image for a closer look)

Happy 30th Birthday!

I love taking a turn and designing outside of my comfort zone. Of course, the majority of my clients are female and to be able to design something for a male is great! One of my clients threw her husband a 30th birthday poker party. She had no idea of what she would like to do - so I got to let my imagination run wild and above shows the outcome. I love it!

Looking into the Past — Part I

Here is some of my work I have done in the past year for my clients.

An identity I created for a personal concierge service. My client wanted something fun, spunky, and professional! She just loved with what I created.

My son just loves Jack from Disney's Nightmare Before Christmas. He wanted his 11th birthday party to be just that! For the life of me, I had the hardest time finding all the party supplies (the movie was released in 1993), thank goodness we have ebay! But I didn't care for the invites, so I created mine own. I cannot take credit for the wording, friend of mine wrote that - Thanks MelBel!

Isn't he the cutest! I created my friend's son's first birthday party invites. I just love them!

Leslie is a great person to work with. She has such bright ideas and I am happy to help plan her special day! One of the first pieces I created were her save the dates. I love the elongated card and I used glossy paper for the front and matte for the back.

It's a Girl!

I came upon the privilege to design a personalized Thank You card for a client. She is planning a shower for her cousin and wanted to have Thank You cards made for her. The soon-to-be parents knew they are having a girl and wanted a pink footprint with their colors of pink and green on a thank you card - Stacia to the rescue! The bonus of my work! They also requested to have Thank you and their names printed on the inside and room for them to personalized the card. Such a clever idea!

Congrats Carin and Dustin!

Our (my husband and I) two really good friends are getting married June 2nd in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. We can't wait to go!
I am designing all of Carin's stationery for her wedding and I am having so much fun! Carin was so cute - she changed her mind about her wedding theme many time, but finally came to the right choice! Chocolate and Pink with a vintage winery feel. I first started with the creation of her monogram.

From there I designed the save the dates and now come the invitations. They turned out simply beautiful!
