It's a Girl!

I came upon the privilege to design a personalized Thank You card for a client. She is planning a shower for her cousin and wanted to have Thank You cards made for her. The soon-to-be parents knew they are having a girl and wanted a pink footprint with their colors of pink and green on a thank you card - Stacia to the rescue! The bonus of my work! They also requested to have Thank you and their names printed on the inside and room for them to personalized the card. Such a clever idea!

Congrats Carin and Dustin!

Our (my husband and I) two really good friends are getting married June 2nd in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. We can't wait to go!
I am designing all of Carin's stationery for her wedding and I am having so much fun! Carin was so cute - she changed her mind about her wedding theme many time, but finally came to the right choice! Chocolate and Pink with a vintage winery feel. I first started with the creation of her monogram.

From there I designed the save the dates and now come the invitations. They turned out simply beautiful!

I <3 Baby Showers!

I recently helped host a baby shower for one of my good friends. Of course I got the responsibility to make the invitations. I had so much fun making these! Adding the 3D embellishments pulled the whole invite together.
The shower was a huge success - a lot fun, girl talk, and great baby gifts. She is due in just 2 weeks - I can't wait to say "hi" to the little guy!

Something frilly...Something sweet...

This was a fun invite to design! Very simple, but screams "FUN"! Gotta love an invite to a lingerie/bachelorette party. Can I come?!

Cooking for a Cause

My friend Allison is a great person. She is so into the well being of our Earth, People and the love of God. She came to me asking to create an invitation to help others in need. She hopes this turns into something bi-annual or annually. Her main audience is women in the twenties and thirties and I felt I needed to make the invite as trendy as the fashion world today! I also incorporated a little bit of retro art noting the fact of women back in the kitchen (of course for a good cause!).

Simple = Elegance

To my surprise,this program turned out more than what I expected. A simple 4 page program with sheer elegance! Perfect for a bride on a budget!

Simply Gorgeous, Misskatiee!

Chocolate and teal have become a popular color choice in the wedding industry and you can simply tell how well they compliment each other. Another popular item is metallic paper. The picture does do justice on how beautiful the paper is. The shimmer is stunning.
I really enjoyed working with Misskatiee. It feels great when I know I have reached the top with my client and they are so pleased with the outcome.
Misskatiee also saved on her budget by having me design and print the invitation. She decided to cut and assemble the invites herself. I do offer all service, but this is a great choice to offer brides on a budget!

Flowing with the theme

Kim was great to work with. Her wedding is this Saturday, April 28th!
:::All my blessing to you!:::
I studied her ideas and invitations and designed what I felt flowed with her wedding theme. And to her, it was perfect! The one project that I created that I did not get to see in it's final print, was the seating chart - my first one! I created a pdf printable file of which she took to Kinkos to be printed on poster paper. She told me it turned out great - but I can't wait to see pics of it!

Here are some of the other items I created for her:

Introducing Myself!

My name is Stacia and I love stationery! It never occured to me how much until I got married last June. I became a graphic designer when I graduate with a BFA at the Illinois Institute of Art in 2002. It's been a bumpy road since than, but I feel I found my true calling.
Designing stationery is awesome! It may be something that not everyone can understand, but I feel it makes such a huge impression of who you are when you can't!
When I started planning my wedding, I realized how much you can incorporate into wedding with stationery. I did Save the Dates, invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, table numbers, place cards — Oh my! — the list goes on an on! Once my wedding was over, I didn't want to stop. So I starting offering my services. I couldn't be happier!
